Organic Ways to Get Rid of Vaginal Odors

It’s a very common problem women face but tend to be very embarrassed about. Let’s just clear a few things up really quickly:
It doesn’t mean you’re dirty.
You are not alone.
Scrubbing your vagina with different soaps and washes will not get rid of the smell.
Now we’re on the same page, here are a handful of home remedies to help you deal with this nagging problem!

Garlic

It’s a natural antibiotic, which is very useful for dealing with vaginal infections and odor. Its antifungal properties will help your body fight bad bacteria and also fight a yeast infection.

What to do:

Eat one or two cloves of raw or cooked garlic on an empty stomach and drink a glass of warm water. Repeat daily. Alternatively, put in and leave a piece of garlic in your vagina for an hour or two. Do this a few times a week until you get rid of the problem.

Tea Tree Oil

The fact that it has antiseptic and antifungal properties makes this ideal for dealing with vaginal odor.

What to do:

Add three drops of tea tree oil into a cup of water, and use this solution to rinse the affected area every day until you notice a positive change.

Baking Soda

This ingredient will help balance the pH level in your body. This balance should help dissipate the problem.

What to do:

Soak your lower body in a solution of bathwater and one cup of baking soda for 20 minutes. Dry yourself thoroughly with a clean towel afterward, it’ll help to deal with the yeast infection.

Yogurt

This is your perfect excuse to wolf down yummy yogurt every day! Remember to go for unsweetened, plain yogurt, though because it is rich in lactobacillus bacteria which helps fight candida infection, one of the most common causes of vaginal odor.

What to do:

Eat two cups of plain yogurt every day. You can back this up with probiotic supplements.
